With a wonderful cold front came a RAIN-FILLED day in Florida that wiped out both of the team's games against Methodist and Widener. While waiting for the first game to be eventually called off, the Engineers decided to occupy their time with something else: a game called "Ninja." Monday marked a great day to be an Engineer: Two wins, 17 hits, and plenty of reasons to celebrate. After beating Grove City 3-0 -- complete with a suicide squeeze play (helped by a perfect bunt by Jenna Martinek) and a strong outing in the circle by Marissa Stout -- the squad came out firing against Regis in the nightcap with 10 hits, including four extra-base knocks for a 7-1 win. Whitney Strain and Jessica Ahlborn blasted triples on the day and Carly Heibel's complete game picked up another Engineer win the circle. Rose-Hulman came to Florida to WIN.
